Chalkboard Lunch Box

I saw this idea for the first time a couple weeks ago in the Shutterfly booth at Blogher and had to have one. I'm not sure how much theirs is...but mine was a whole dollar.

I found this cute metal lunch box at my Goodwill for $1.00 and used the rest of my Krylon chalkboard spray paint on the inside top.

How perfect to write your child love notes in their lunch! Right?

.....and little reminders too! :)

P.S. Stay tuned for my metal stamped label tutorial for lunches and backpacks :)

Cute! I have no kids, but I could make one for myself. This is the second blog post I read today that uses chalkboard paint. I need to buy some ASAP.

I found your blog through Inspiration Friday.

What a fun idea for both you and the kids when they open their lunch box to see what message you've written for the day! Love it!

Perfect idea to personalize your messages each day. Just keep the chalk by your lunch supplies. I just pinned this on Pinterest. Found you on Sun Scholars. - I'm off to look at your Dr. Seuss post I just saw on your side bar. - I'm @obSEUSSed
