Flower Embellished Flip Flops

In Az we where flip flops year round so when they go on clearance at Target for $1.98 it's so exciting! Since I'm in my mom uniform of yoga pants and tank top most of the time, cute flips help a little :)

I made some satin flowers to embellish mine and they are so easy and cute.

To make these kind of flowers I burn circles to make the petals. You line them up in a circle and stitch together (pic 2). I do a second larger row for the bottom and sew together.

Then just embellish with a bead or brad in the middle. I use E6000 glue to secure the flowers to straps

I used the same technique on a larger scale for a flower on my shirt. Such a great way to rock whatcha got already in your closet, don't you think?!

Thanks for checking in :)
